Re: FD 3.5 problems
Submitted by chiaroscuro on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 10:28I am also having the same problems. Using fastdial beta3.5 in Firefox 5 and windows xp. All the shortcuts show up in bookmarks/fastdial but I cannot get them to come up in a tab. Tried the workarounds in these posts but nothing works.
Thank you for your response
I am not the developer
I would be interested to hear what happens if you right click on the Fast Dial Folder in Bookmarks and then chose Fast Dial Make Home in the context menu if that improves matters
many thanks
Re: FD 3.5 problems
Submitted by narbig on Fri, 07/15/2011 - 14:21So you are suggesting that Fast Dial is overriding the Firefox Settings
That is most unusual.
If you return to your Firefox settings, have they been altered in any way ?
No, the Firefox settings stay like I set them, they has not been alter. I have the same settings and extensions in another PC and have that same problem.
If I click the Home button, it goes to my home page.

I just find out that not only does not open the home page, also when Firefox is closed and I open an external link or internet shortcut, Firefox load and does not appear the external link that I open, instead open the fast dial.
Please help me because Fast Dial is a great extension and I don't want to uninstall it.
Thanks

Mmmm
That is not good
Should appear as an option in the context menu
This allows on to allow fast dial to function in different bookmarks folders but Fast Dial
Re: FD 3.5 problems
Submitted by wcourtney on Mon, 07/18/2011 - 15:18I have win7, FF 5.0 and the latest version of FD.
My Fastdial page is blank. When I go into the FD settings page, all the values are 0. When I try to change them to something else, and close the settings page, the settings are not saved.
Thanks
