Yesterday I've updated Firefox up to version 12 and now I've a blank page with title "History" instead of usual Fasi Dial page.
I've tried to remove and reinstall FastDial, set my FasDial folder as FastDial home, but without any effect.
Am I alone having the issue ? Is a new release planned for it ?
By "light", I mean the Bookmarks context menu to access directly bookmarks from main FF window, not the Bookmarks main window available from "Bookmarks -> Organize bookmarks".
On the main page of Firefox, use the "Bookmarks" icon (would be in the left side of your personal address bar), then left click, it would displays all bookmarks, then move the mouse over a folder, then right click and move the mouse over fast dial and select "make home".
Normally it would works on my point of view but in reality it do nothing.
can confirm using your "light" system
Fast Dial 2.23b1
Works fine switching between two folders in Bookmarks
Need of course to refresh Fast Dial Page (with Firefox refresh page) to see effect in Fast Dial
Tests with other versions will be posted soon
Confirmed not working from the context menu. But it is working from the bookmarks manager. This is the menu that it doesn't work:
So this would seem to be a confirmed bug
Your menu seems like it is in a tab
This is the menu I have that works
Directly from bookmarks in Firefox
Well it is in a button, but it's exactly the same as the bookmarks menu.
I seem to remember that when Firefox 4 came out there was some changes to the bookmarks structure. That's when it probably stopped working via the context menu.
Yes, I agree.
Glad to see you have reproduced the issue :-)
Enjoy seeing a fix available soon ;-) (hehe)
Yes we have reproduced this.
Luckily however there is a clear alternative that is usable.
This question however has been noted
Thanks for the feedback
