I also had problems with FastDial 3.5b1 (FastDial page not appearing on blank page).

They went away after I once set my home page to "about:blank" and restarted Firefox. After that I have (re-)set my homepage to show several different tabs (URIs separated by the | sign), and the FastDial page still appears.

A small hint to others reporting a non-working FastDial version:
You should perhaps add information about the language version of Firefox, suspicious installed extensions, and any other unusual settings you might have. I think that would help the developer(s) immensely.

In my case I have a German Firefox 5, with e.g. AdBlock Plus, NoScript and XMarks installed.

Hi guys,

I've just released 3.5.1 on Mozilla Add-On site. It includes a rewritten version of the patch provided by c-shark (thanks to him).
It's under validation process and should be available as the main version soon.

I've not yet reproduced the problem with the about:blank page, I'm going to investigate, but in all basic environments I've used to do tests, I've not faced this problem.
Could it be related to incompatibility between FD and another extension?
Can one of you test the behavior in a clean Firefox profile?

I have the following error with fast dial 3.5.1 in Firefox 7.0a2 :

I have upgraded to Firefox 5 and since then it says that Fast Dial has been disabled because it is not compatible with Firefox 5. I'm running Windows 7 Professional. Please help me get this working, I miss it!

Hi all..

Thanks for the great job.

When I right click on ant link to open in a new window. It opens a window with fast Dial instead of my link.

I am using FF5.0,Fast Dial 3.5.1 on windows Vista Home Premium SP2.

I have a problem:

Whenever I press CTRL + F for popping up the find bar, I unintendedly directed to fastdial page. Changing shortcut key in preferences window (and restarting firefox accordingly) does not have any effect.

Strange. I use version 3.5.1 with Firefox 6 and ctrl+f works fine for me.
