Hi,

Recently I deleted the history and cookies of my firefox.

As a result, I found out that all the information - bookmarks and folders held in Fast Dial folders and sub-folders is now gone.

Is there any way to reconstruct the information anyhow ?

Any help will be appreciated !

Let us take this slowly.

I do not see why you should not be able to restore bookmarks from an earlier bookmarks backup.

Firefox automatically backs up bookmarks so there should be backups available.

Please try the method outlined here

This gave me hope, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, it DID NOT WORK.

Either oldest backup was after I deleted all the cookies (I don't think that this was the case), or the fastdial does not write all files in this place, and uses different place instead, i.e. the bookmarks of fastdial are not stored as normal bookmarks.
can this be true ?

What else can explain why this did not work for me ?

Any other suggestion for fixing the problem ?
