Submitted by Blackfeet on Fri, 10/02/2009 - 10:38Thanks for the reply . . .
I have done this - several times and with different themes, but nothing changes.
I have even gone into the .css for the theme and changed the font and size there, but nada.
Is it possible for Firefox to over-ride the font with a default?

Yep.... !
There is a setting in Firefox
/Tools
/Options
/Content
/Fonts and Colors
/Advanced
Which is:
allow pages to chose their own fonts, instead of my selections above
If this setting is not enabled, the Font settings in Firefox will over-ride the Font settings in Fast Dial
Please try and let us know if this helps resolve your problem !
Many thanks
Re: Label Fonts . . .(Title Font)
Submitted by Blackfeet on Fri, 10/02/2009 - 19:50That did it. I did not have the box checked that allowed pages to select their own fonts. Now I have what I want.
Thanks!

Re: Label Fonts . . .(Title Font)
Submitted by Blackfeet on Sat, 10/03/2009 - 23:40OK - one more Q . . .
Is there a way to alter the font SIZE seperately from the Firefox settings?
It doesn't look like it, as I went through the settings top to bottom, but it never hurts to ask - right?
Thanks once again . . .

The Font size setting in Fast Dial is the number just to the right of Name of the the Font setting itself ?
That is on Preferences/Appearance/Page.
Does changing this value have no effect on Font size for you ?
Works this end....
You can also change the Title Font size in Fast Dial by using a Style in Stylish, but this should not be necessary
Also useful is that in Preferences/Appearance/Title one can alter the settings so that the Title Text (and Favicon) only appear on hover.
Select the Active boxes, and not the Normal ones.
Keeps the Fast Dial page free of text when not needed.
Many thanks
Re: Label Fonts . . .(Title Font)
Submitted by Blackfeet on Sun, 10/04/2009 - 20:23Never mind - I was going back through all my settings, both within FD and Firefox. That is when I discovered I had a minimum font size set within Firefox. As soon as I altered that to "NONE", everything within FD worked as you said.
Sometimes I just need a little nudge to keep digging.
Thanks!
