I'm just trying to get from Opera + Firefox to Firefox only, your Simple Mail is an essential part of this progress and so far I'm suprised how good the addon is workin! wow, thx for your work. pinned on the tabbar it behaves just like I'm used to from opera.

so now about this:
ADDED : you can now send AND/OR view mails in plaintext
great! - but how do I switch? Is it plain by default if I don't format anything?

ps: a few things that would be nice, but are not important, just my 5c for improvement
- clicking in the color field could open up color selection
- option to open groups like a foldertree for choosing just certain mails
- "send new mail" button for the normal browsing tabs/menu, to open new mail tab without clicking on the smart buttons sub-menu

found the plain text dialog, problem was, that it was translated (I'm German, and the German version translates the term "plaintext" into german "klartext" which is right but I searched for the english term "plaintext" as it wouldn't come to my mind to translate that)

so thank you, I just managed to get my adressbook from opera to simple mail, everything seems to be working now :)

for my improvement ideas (I guess they don't belong here) a little more text for each, to get an idea what the heck I'm talking about:
- mailbackround can be colored, but to do this, you need to rightclick and choose a color (in my version all colors look black, which is strange). I would prefer, to just left click on the color-column and get a color menu (okay this one is very specific)
- mailadresses can be sorted in groups. it would be nice to have the option to open these groups, like the bookmarks in the ffox bookmark menu
- to send a new mail while browsing I have click on the little arrow next to the mail-icon and choose new mail. I would prefer another optional icon, just for "new mail" so I could write a new mail from browsing with one click.

- another thing that would be fine is to have the option to choose the backround color, e.g. a light grey would be less straining for the eyes
