FF 15.0 + FD 4.4.2 = do not open FD when create New tab.

For reproduce:
1. start FF 15.0
2. Click on "+" for open New tab
As result we get the blank page - without FD
How it can be fixed?

I've seen a few people asking how to get the Speedial working again. Here are instructions how to do it:
Firefox introduced new feature called Top Sites. It is probably a 1st version of this and I hope this will be updated later on to allow more flexibility. Right now this feature interferes with Speed Dial.
To get it working:
1. go to "about:config"
2. go to browser.newtab.url
3. you can change the "about:newtab" to "about:blank" or "about:home" or... that's what we want.. change it to do SpeedDial local custom page which is "chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul"
4. Now it should work again.

I'd like to +1 the numbers of people for whom this is THE essential FF add-on. I highly recommend it.
I was desperately looking for an Opera-like speed dial ever since I started using Firefox and we've been inseparable since :)
I've found a fix for FF15. The problem is the Speed Dial isn't loading on a new tab, and this can be fixed by visiting about:config and searching for the browser.newtab.url tag. This needs to be se to the speed dial address: chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul

New tab was set to open Fast Dial page but since FF update to version 15.0, a new tab now opens a blank tab.
The only other tab related add-on is Tab Mix Plus .................................
And that's the blighter that prevents it working. Funny - when troubleshooting yesterday I thought I'd tried disabling that one.
So, I wonder if it's the about:blank setting within Tab Mix Plus that's impacting the new tab from using Fast Dial

Could be that or the new tab feature that landed in Fx 14. They might have done some update to that that now block Fast Dial. Maybe someone over at the Tab Mix Plus forums will know how to get TMP and FD playing nice together.

It will be most interesting to hear the views of the TMP Forum.
I will test tomorrow if this issue also occurs in Firefox 14.

Please download the latest Version of FVD (3.6.9) and all should be resolved.
So this was not A TMP or Fast Dial issue.
