Help!

I cannot edit my buttons on fast dial. I used to be able to hover over a button and get a bar that allowed me to edit or I could right click on a button and select properties. Neither of these options work. I have to open Firefox Bookmarks and organize bookmarks and then edit it there, but even then it doesn't refresh or change the picture.

I use a Mac with OSX and Firefox 3.0.3

Ver 2.11.x locked up Vista Business. Ver 2.14 did the same - locked up the system. Mozilla 3.0.3 version. [Vista fully updated through 9:00 a.m. today]

Ver 2.11 is running fine on my Win XP Pro machines at home with Mozilla 3.0.3.

When using Version 2.11.0 if the Fast Dial page is right clicked the Add option is listed.
Select the add option, but the Properties Menu does not appear.

This has been reported here by nomad confirming my personal experience.

I have found that when running Version 2.11.0/2.12.0 (maybe other v2.0 versions are the same) in fullscreen mode using Autohide, that if one for example opens a Folder, well all the FD cells in that Folder vanish.

If one returns to non fullscreen mode, the cells will re-appear

This will also occur with cells in the root folder.

It is in the transition from one folder to the next that the cells go missing.

It is possible to remain in fullscreen mode in a folder after non-fullscreen mode and the cells remain visible

First of all, thank you for your extension: it is very nice, and your efforts are much appreciate ;-)

I am writing you for this. I am using FEBE/CLEO/OPIE to create a backup of my Firefox profile. These utilities neglect the settings/preferences for Fastdial. The author of these extensions says this is probably caused by "Most likely, Fastdial does not store its preferences in the standard way. You will probably have to find out what the extension root is for that extension yourself and tell OPIE what it is. ".

Ok...Love the extension...although....As of this morning(no changes from last night and before the update to 2.11 so I don't know why it started today)

Uninstalled and went back to .2.8. Worked ok..

Reinstalled 2.11 and when I fired it up it ff and had 4 blank windows. Hit refresh and 1 comes back. Hit refresh again and another, f5 and another...Although, they are all in the wrong locations.

Move them back to where they are supposed to go with drag n drop and then hit refresh...they shuffle on the page.

when i add a background and click apply to all folders it doesn't actually do anything. It would be nice if you could get this to work, because i have a lot of nested folders and do not want to go through them all to get my background.

When i try to enter in my Bookmarks on FastDial's website appear this error:

Because Fast Dial 1.x replaces about:blank pages with its page, when using the Web Developer add-on (which also does this on occasion), you will run into conflicts.

This was finally resolved in Fast Dial Version 2.x.

Remember FD v2.x works only in FireFox 3.
Upgrading to FD v2.x is the Recommended solution, although there is a workaround for v1.x available: here
