Could other add-ons be causing this problem. or is it something wrong with the computer?

You could try making a new Firefox Profile and load only Fast Dial, and see if things work OK.

I just install firefox to this computer. never upgraded, just downloaded for the first time.

What Version of Firefox are you using ?

Only five icons show up on fast dial, but anything else icons or webpages never finish loading.

Can you spot any difference between the logos that load and the ones that do not ?

Please check if the logos are on the hard disk, or if their name or location has changed.

don't save logos to my computer anymore, I just right click on the image and click "Copy Image Location" and paste that in as my logo path.
