2.22 doesn't work after upgrade

i upgraded my fast dial this morning. i had it set as my homepage. however, when i restarted firefox, every time fast dial tries to open or i try to make a change, it comes up with an error message which looks like:
null|border-top-width
i can see the help button and the search box but all my cells are gone and only the help button redirects to the help page
somebody please help!

Check what values you have specified for thumbnails "Quantity" option in Preferences > General. I think you might put a zero value there. Currently I don't have another idea of why this might happen.

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Thu, 01/22/2009 - 15:37i got it to work...i uninstalled, searched 'older versions of fast dial' which lead me to the mozilla add-ons page, and installed the latest (2.22b) and now it works. i do not know why uninstalling and reinstalling did not work before but i am so glad it did this time. i can get on with my day now. thank you for your help

Yes that page is certainly the best for finding earlier Versions of Fast Dial.
You also have a Changelog on this site which you might find of interest
