No new thumbnails

In the past week I've changed a couple of my Fast Dial pages, and for those new sites, I get a broken image link rather than a thumbnail. One of the new pages is a sub-page of a site I used to have on Fast Dial for which the thumbnail worked with no issues.
Neither of the sites in question have a UserLogo and I really don't want to use a UserLogo for them anyway- I prefer a live thumbnail.
Why has this stopped working and how can I fix it? I'm using v 2.22b with Firefox 3.0.10. I think the problem might have started with the last Firefox update but I'm not sure.

Submitted by Lili (not verified) on Tue, 05/12/2009 - 07:15The new installation ran into the same issue yet again after about an hour...but this time I was able to discover the exact problem: an extension called OKCupid toolbar, which allows one to use OKCupid's IM service from a toolbar. Disabling the OKCupid extension fixed the issue. :( I'm not at all sure why this didn't become apparent yesterday when I was testing each extension individually.
I'll contact the authors of that extension and let them know there is a problem with it. Thanks for all your help.

I am glad you were at last able to discover the the culprit.
Something had to be causing the problem's you have been having.

It may interest you to learn that neither the developer or myself have been able to reproduce your problems with the OKC Toolbar.
We are both using Version 2.0.3.0 of the plugin, were you using the same ?
Maybe it is necessary to be a member of OKC before the problem shows itself....?
In any case, I would be very grateful, if, when you have a moment, you could try and reproduce your problem with just Fast Dial and the OKC Toolbar in a New Profile.
That would at least clarify that the problem was being caused by OKC alone and not OKC AND another extension.
Would also be interested to hear how you got along with the authors of the OKC Toolbar

I, too, am using the OK Cupid extension. I have not yet uninstalled it, but I will do so and let you know about the results...especially since you don't seem to have duplicated it on your own!

Yes what would interest me would be if you could try and reproduce your problem in a New Firefox Profile, with only Fast Dial and OKC runnning.
The fact that I cannot reproduce suggests there may be some other force at work.

For anyone else having this issue, but still wanting to use ok cupid toolbar i found if you just disable it, restart firefox, setup your links like you want, and then re-enable the okcupid tool bar your links will be fine until you have to change one of them again...
