Fast Dial not opening in new tab (Firefox 4.0b1)

Fast Dial 2.23b2 and 2.23b1
When opening a new tab it's blank — no Fast Dial though it is enabled.
Navigating to about:blank results in the same thing: the page is really blank.
chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html works fine so it seems to be a problem with new tab handler.

Have the tabs moved ?
Do you need to use the awesome bar to open tabs ?
strange...
Do you think one has to do something to open Fast Dial in a new tab ?

For example I have GMail and this forum open in two tabs. Now i just go to address bar and type “gmail” — Firefox. In browser's suggestions the first thing is http://gmail.com (as it was in 3.x) and the second thing is “Go to gmail which is already open in another tab”.

Have you get your Fast Dial settings to open in a new tab ?

If possible right click on the Fast Dial folder in Bookmarks and try using:
Fast Dial make home
in the context menu
Or is that still not working ?

Submitted by kirrun on Thu, 07/22/2010 - 19:52I mean that if I type “chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html ” in address bar and go there, Fast Dial opens as expected. I can even set this address as my homepage. But the problem is that FF4 seems to miss “Open homepage in new tabs” option!
You really should install it and see yourself.
