After selecting an element the cursor is still in the address line

Xander —Tue, 08/05/2008 - 18:29

So if I then press down key to scroll the loaded page instead the list of pages appears. Could you please move the focus from the address line appropriately?

My environment:

Fast Dial 1.90
Firefox 3.0.1
Debian lenny.

something similar happens to me..

this only occurs if there is one tab open..

if i click my GOOGLE thumbnail in fast dial, it loads google, but instead of focusing cursor in the search input field..it focusses on address bar..

i must click the google search field several times before it gets focus..

using FD2
firefox 3

Confirming the problem existence in 1.90. But in 2.0 Google is working fine for me. Maybe there's a conflict with another extension?

i c..

the best way to reproduce the bug in 2.0 is close all tabs first..
then make sure you have a last tab showing in the tab bar...
in other words
TOOLS > OPTIONS > TABS> Always show the tab bar

from that last tab, using fast dial, open a google cell...

if the focus is in the google search field, then it must be a problem only on my firefox..

UPDATE: IT SEEMS IT DOESNT OCCUR ON GOOGLE BUT ONLY ON iGOOGLE...
must have something to do with the coding of that page...
