In light of the problems you have encountered in your upgrade to 2.14.0, I have been considering that before we go forward it might be worth trying to reload 2.11.0 again and see if your present FD works correctly in 2.11.0.

If it does then we can try disabling you other 106 extensions and THEN try again to upgrade to 2.14.0

The alternative is to keep going. But I am a little concerned if you are unable to edit or save an material in your present FD.
We could take the following steps and see if we make any headway.

1. First I think it would be good to do some housekeeping.

a) check all settings in Preferences and click apply to all folders.
b) refresh problem cells
c) acquaint yourself with the fastdial folder in your Firefox Profile where all your Fast Dial images are stored.

2. If you find that you cannot modify a cell with right click properties on a cell, then perhaps we should consider delete and add to see if that works.

3. This should be done only to dialing cells for the moment, not folder cells.

4. So copy url from the cell we are going to remove, then right click on cell and click remove.

5. Right click on FD and Add/URL, paste URL, then browse for Logo and click OK.

6. Reload Fast Dial Page by clicking on Firefox reload page.

7. If this works for one cell, then we can repair your page in this way.

8 If it doesn't then we will have to consider other options.

I have managed to edit the non transparent to transparent,

Good news.
How did you do that ?

but the options screen still keeps going out of focus for some reason, and it still wont let me click "ok", I can click, but there is no response.

So if you right click and go to Preferences, you cannot use Preferences ?
This is hopeless.

Might be worth disabling a few of your other 106 extensions to see if there is a conflict.
Or alternativesly try uninstalling and reinstalling 2.14, with your other extensions disabled.

You might also try running FD 2.14 in a New Profile and see how it behaves.

Not managed to fix broken cells yet.

What further damage is there ?

underneath that you will see the words get fast dial.

click on that

in the new window you will see a "cell" "Install 2.14"

click on that to download
