Fast Dial v4.16.6 Extension was tagged [LEGACY] and disabled by Firefox Quantum v57.

There are some term or release date for an extension compatible?

Or Fast Dial will be discontinued?

Please, I need a response quickly because I am a heavy user and created a strong dependence of this extension.

We have a volunteer programmer working on porting Fast Dial to WebExtensions format. However at the moment it's not known whether he succeeds or not. If he doesn't come to a dead end, he is going to create a beta version.

Лучшее дополнение для firefox. Без него 57 версия просто бесполезная. Очень хотелось бы увидеть обновление fast dial.

Good News for me! I like and need Fast-Dial very much!
Espessially the Full-Screen-Preview-Function is very important for me !!
As long as the new version is not ready to go, i will not update my Firefox to V57 !

This is indeed good news.

Personally I have found for some years now that both Fast Dial and Simple Mail work well in Pale Moon
Both extensions are threatened with extinction by present developements in Firefox
I could not be without either extension

This is a tremendous workaround as long as Fast Dial is not working with Firefox 57 and later!
