This is the logo I use for my localhost link that I use when working with sites under development that are currently being hosted on my own machine. It has a slight gradient, and looks great with dark or light background colors.

I could maybe look for a few if you have some things you are having trouble with, or if you find a great icon or graphic for one and you think it could make a good FD "logo".
