Firefox 4.0b5 and FD 2.23b3 problem

I can't get my logos to be transparent. All logos I use are transparent .png-s, but when I use them, they have white background :( Anyone having same troubles? Any hint? Maybe stylish script? Thanks...

please could you see if there is any error in the error console

also try if fast dial works in a new Profile.

If you roll back a Version in Firefox does the problem go away ?

Are you running any Styles in Stylish, maybe trying toggling Stylish off to see if that helps.

I used version 3.5.* of firefox before installing this version (just few days ago), and Fast Dial worked fine. I tried running in safe-mode, and disabling all add-ons, then enabling only Fast Dial, tried new profile and nothing works. Also, I installed stylish after Fast Dial (and only because of white background of the logos, so that I can at least make them prettier. I'm using modifications of few scripts to make logos rounder, and more Chrome-like). Haven't tried looking at error console, and, truth to say, I have no idea how to do that :) In Developer menu of firefox 4, there's only Web Console, but it's not working (it's not displaying anything) so I guess that's not it :) I'll try googling a little :)

It would interesting to know if you go back a Firefox Version if fast dial starts to work.
My guess is that it will make no difference.

You could try going to preferences and hitting default.
And restarting Firefox.

The try resetting your Fast Dial Settings in Preferences.
Maybe they have got corrupted.

I'm having the same exact problem on 4.0b6. It shows up even when I load up the 3.6.9 version that I haven't uninstalled. Any ideas on a fix?

Nothing is added to the error console when I go through this process of adding a logo. Maybe a change in how Firefox interprets pngs?

Have you tried in Preferences clicking on defaults and then restarting firefox ?
then resetting your Pref settings ?

yes, i just tried it again though. any background i use reveals that the png's aren't transparent. the weird thing is that when i view the png normally in firefox, the transparency seems to render fine - it's only with fast dial that i see a white background.

Have you tried toggling off Stylish.
I ran a little program from Userstyles in Stylish that managed quite successfully to alter the background of all the FD cells.
