New Thumbnail Backgrounds are not transparent anymore.

I'm experiencing an issue where newly created links are no longer transparent. If I remember correctly here is the order of events.
- Upgraded to Firefox 5 - As most have noticed Fast Dial 3.4 doesn't work.
- Reinstalled Firefox 4 - Yay Fast Dial is back!
- Accidentally removed one of my links' logos and when I tried to reapply the transparent .PNG it is no longer transparent.
- Reinstalled Firefox 5 and upgraded to Fast Dial 3.5b1 and I'm still having the transparency issue.
Weird thing is all of my previously created links are still transparent. If I go into prefs and change the background color all my links change. As soon as I type transparent back in there all my previously created links go back to transparent but not my new ones. Here is a screen shot of what I'm dealing with.
I've tried different images but just can't get new links to appear transparent.

Submitted by dk00111 on Mon, 06/27/2011 - 13:57This has been an issue since Firefox 4. There are two ways to fix this. One is to reinstall Firefox 3, refresh all of you tiles and reinstall Firefox 5 again.
The other way takes a little more work, but doesn't require you to reinstall the old Firefox. Here are some instructions on how to do it.
