Logos Won't Load

I just did a fresh install of Windows 7. I backed up my
bookmarks and now Fast Dial shows all of my book-
marks without logos as expected. I copied the folder
with my logos to to my desktop and have tried going
through each bookmark to make the association
between the bookmarks and the logos folder but
so far it has only worked for a few of the logos in
my folder. Any idea what could be going wrong?

Submitted by metal321 on Wed, 12/12/2012 - 19:11Finally got it to work. For some reason I had to open a second Firefox window and this seemed to help. I then would close it after making changes and the logos would start to appear. I also removed and reinstalled Fast Dial but I don't think that had any effect.

Sometimes useful is to go bookmarks, Organise Bookmarks and then in Bookmarks menu right click on the fastdial folder and chose fastdial make home
Far and away the best way to store Firefox Profile information either as a safety or to restore is FEBE
(Firefox Environment Backup Extension)
But use the complete Profile setting, nothing else

I thought it was because of my old firefox profile, as in a fresh profile with a new fast dial adding logos worked, but now seeing another user have the same problem, it might be more serious than I thought.

then i updated to 4.10 and ff23 to see if it did anything and it didn't

Have you tried in a New Profile
Is ther anything in the error console

it worked fine in a new profile and there's nothing in the error console of either profile

It is most strange that this problem should occur right now and in such a way.
In some ways it suggests an extension conflict
