OK. Heres a transparent HSBC. Ive seen a few and its not an easy one to do as the text is black so it needs the glow on the text to make it stand out.

Even though the top one looks sketchy it should be fine on a dark background

Re the first one, try using the magic wand with feather to get less of the sketchy black pixels

on your graphics program when you use magic wand select feather rather than hard

Im using Pixelmator and still finding my way round it. Just deleted the sketchy one as I couldnt improve it .
