Logos disappear when changing background

Whenever I try to change the background image, It sometimes successfully changes, and sometimes it does not (resulting in a white screen). Regardless if it does work or not, all my logos disappear and I am forced to use one of the default themes.
I can move my mouse over the logos and I can still click on them, so they're still there, but they're totally invisible.
I'm currently using version 2.16 and I've only started having this problem since version 2.15.

Do you have any problems running your default themes.
Are you saying this occurs when you are making a new theme in default*

No, I don't have any problems running default themes. But as soon as I change the background (therefore creating a new theme based on the default), the mentioned problems occur.
I should have also mentioned that once, and only once, I successfully changed the background without the logos going invisible. Unfortunately, I tried my luck for the second time with another background, thinking the problem was fixed.

In this way all your appearance settings are available immediately, and there is only the background to add.
This is just a useful working method.
Not too sure about your problem yet, but there must be a reason for that.
We will have to troubleshoot perhaps.

I've gotten around the problem by uninstalling then reinstalling, and deleting all my bookmarks. It seems to be the only way I'm able to change background while being able to see my logos. I just have to make sure I choose one I'm not willing to change for a while, which I have. =P
Something else to note is: file names with spaces will not be recognised when choosing a background, and will result in a the default white background.
