Deco I find rather lopsided and confusing, but appreciate many details of the design detail in layout and fonts.
In Stylish I run this to see transparent logos easily.
Also run this when I don't want any sidebars constricting the page.

I guess I'm just used to Deco. I much prefer that logo, bluemarine as a theme isn't bad, however newfangled is poor:

I think with the addition of 'logo requests' and 'themes' the nav bar has just got too much.
(What version of drupal is the site running?)
My stylish style for transparent logos shows checkerboard by default, with black on mouseover, as this dark background colour is one people often forget - due to some transparent gif compressions the edges look pixelated, so I always check my logos on both light and dark backgrounds.

my vote: deco, customized with stylish
a while back, whenever i saw a bug or something i didnt like with deco, i used stylish to fix it...then i got telega to append the changes to the site css...
ive got maybe 1 or 2 more changes i made using stylish, just for personal preference..
