I did this trick, but it didn't work for me, even after relaunching ffox
I only have the background image and empty cells, to which I can't add anything. Once I enter the alias and press OK the cells stay empty, too bad - because I'm fastdial addict:(

I tried the following: restoring bookmarks from all of the available backups. Didn't work.
Creating a new backup file (to my desktop) and restoring from it- didn't work.
Switching off other addons - didn't work.
Deleting fastdial and reinstalling it - didn't work either:(((

But (i hope it's the good news) there is something in error console.
NOTE i'm not into codes and programming stuff, so please excuse me for posting useless pieces of code down here. Another thing before I continue with the error log:
- do I have to toggle "javascript.options.showInConsole" back to false?
-I didn't quite get your idea about backuping sqlite file and where should i search for it and where should i put it? please excuse me, but i'm a complete noob

I am posting it here to see if it sheds some light on the whole problem.

Personally I would recommend the bookmarks restore method.
It is much more straightforward.

Hi,
I did this trick, but it didn't work for me completely.
After relaunching ffox the Fast dial page was totally blank: after some test i did notice that the thumbnail was there but completely invisible. I resolved changed the Opacity in the Appeareance tab on the preference menu.

Restoring Bookmarks also worked for this anonymous user here

I have the issue, too- that is, Fast Dial 2.22b and Firefox 3.5 leaves me with a Fast Dial page with a lot of empty boxes.

Please try this

This will establish which is your Home folder in Bookmarks

Link

See if that works on it's own.

If not then try reloading Bookmarks from earlier backup.

If you find no Fast Dial Folder n Bookmarks please let us know.

I've tried restoring previous bookmarks w/o success. Thing is, I *see* the bookmarks in under Library/Unsorted Bookmarks. It's a matter of getting Fast Dial to load them back up, I think!

I have this problem as well. However I have upgraded Firefox to 3.5 on 3 different computers & I only have the problem on 1 of them. The fast dial page ends up being completely blank seemingly randomly. The restore worked fine & I'll continue to use that until a solution is found or new version of fast dial is released.
