New tab = blank, why isn't Fast Dial showing?

Hello!
I am running windows 8 pro x64 and firefox 15 with the supposed latest version of fast dial.
When I open a new tab it's blank. But if i click on the tab bar fast dial icon it loads up all the bookmarks from my fast dial folder as it should.
What settings do I need to adjust?

Submitted by Efreak15 on Wed, 09/05/2012 - 16:06.Do you have possible extensions conflicting with Fast Dial's tab settings? We're receiving reports that Fast Dial sometimes doesn't work with Tab Mix Plus. (Although it works with our systems)

At the moment it is not clear what is happening.
We have not found a way to reproduce this problem
Some suggest that the problem is related to TabMixPlus, because if that extension is disabled then the problem disappears.
But the TabMixPlus settings may have been modified by another extension.
If you do have TMP loaded please let us know what the settings are.
Please try with all your other Extenions disabled.
Or in a new Profile
There has to be a reason for this problem
Please let us know how you get on
We want to understand this as soon as possible
I am running Fast Dial in Firefox 15 with TMP, and have no problems

There is reason to believe that there is a conflict with another extension
You will see all details in the other thread.
Please confirm in the other thread if you are using the same extension.
