Lord don't click that 'refresh all' button!!

Ok here's the beef....I was opening my browser as usual and it seemed I had run CCleaner before opening....next thing you know my bookmarks I had/have/might still have/ would not load . so I pressed the 'refresh all' button...all the sudden all my thumbnails vanished, but the squares and the titles remained ...and it proceeded to 'refresh all' ..I have 84 book marks. So I un installed fast dial, thinking it would come back normal...and it did not. So I tried system restore and ran it all back about fifteen days, and still nothing. What have I got to do to get a normal fastdial book mark page working correctly again?

I just magicly re downloaded fast dial and it fixed everything....so you don't need to reply to this unless you want to. Thanks!

Which Version of Fast Dial did you download ?

Which Version of Firefox are you running

What previous Version of Fast Dial were you running

Interestng that your system restore did not work.

Don't Understand that

One would have expected Firefox to be part of the System.

Useful also to do backups of Firefox now and again with FEBE

Although Bookmarks which is where Fast Dial is stored is also auto-saved by Firefox

To solve this 'transparency' problem you can re-install Firefox 3.6.12 (you do NOT have to uninstall 4.0b), open the fast dial homepage and refresh all, this will re-enable the desired transparency effect, close. Re-open 4.0b and again enjoy full transparency.

It is important that you disable any 3rd party theme in 4.0b before you attempt this as it can screw up the theme in 3.6.12.

This worked a charm for me, hope it does for you guys too.
