Submitted by Fuzzoom on Sun, 07/10/2011 - 17:23In FF5, Fast Dial 3.5b1 no longer loads immediately in a new tab. However, the Fast Dial folder is still in bookmarks, and there is a simple workaround.
You simply need to change your homepage to the following: chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html
(I found that location by putting the fast dial on my Add-on bar, then clicking on Fast Dial.)

I am running the new beta of FastDial on Firefox 5.0.1, on Mac OSX 10.6.7
I am having a little difficulty as the preferences window is not large enough to show me the save buttons at the bottom.
The default options for the program are to show 0 windows with no options ticked.
Just wondering if this is a bug or my simpleness.

Submitted by anna0925 on Wed, 07/13/2011 - 18:11I cannot access my fast dial page anymore. Under the bookmarks tab, the pages are still saved under Fast Dial, but my fast dial homepage button is not working. Very inconvenient!!! Fast dial is amazing, and i love using it!! please fix soon.

I set columns and rows and then open a new tab and it is blank. I go back into FD options and then reenter columns and rows. But it's always a blank page.

You have a number of options in Firefox
If you go to Options/Preferences in Firefox you can see that you can have
when firefox opens:
"show a blank page" will take you to fast dial
or
go to home page instead
if you have go to home page set then you can add whatever URL you want to open Firefox in the home page setting beneath
about:blank as home page will open fast dial as home page

All the shortcuts show up in bookmarks/fastdial but I cannot get them to come up in a tab. Tried the workarounds in these posts but nothing works. Will move on soon to something else unless this is resolved.

That is my problem that I set in Startup -> "When Firefox starts:" "Show my home page" and in "Home Page:" "http://www.engadget.com/", but when I startup Firefox, load fast dial instead Engadget website.
Please help me.

That is most unusual.
If you return to your Firefox settings, have they been altered in any way ?
What happens if you click History/Home
