Thumbnail Logos "Fitting to Screen"

All of my logos that are being imported right now are 'fitting to screen' instead of keeping their proper ratio. Is this just because a proper release has not been made yet? Can I fix it?

you see particularly the mozilla, and the last on the right, they are so stretched vertically...

I am not too sure about the cause of your problem

Please try to reproduce in a new Profile using only logos downloaded from this site and no other extensions but Fast Dial running

Are you sure all the logos you imported are of a 4:3 ratio?

they are not. indeed, the logos downloaded from the site are ok, they do not stretch. but since i use fastdial from FF3, i never worried about the ratio, when it was not 4:3, the logo did not strech anyway. it was only smaller. By the way, this is the smaller of the smallest problems. i found this extension extraordinary useful as it is. so just a borderline complain, nothing more...

Please would you be so kind as to clarify which Version of Fast Dial in your opinion first made you aware of this problem

I am sort of curious to know if the modification suggested by c-shark may have some side effect (Version 3.5.1)

Or whether this problem is related to the Logos themselves

Would you be so kind as to give further information, and make some tests using only 4:3 logos.

well.
when i switched to ff7 i could not make the 3.5.1 version to work.
i found the modified one, and this was first time i became aware of this modification.

now, the logos downloaded from your site, they all behave perfectly.

This in fact as a direct result of the Firefox Bug

The modifications in Fst Dial which allow transparency to be retained cause Fast Dial to lose it's scaling capabilities

It is regrettable that this development has come about.

Let us hope one day that the Firexox bug is fixed

Please have a look at this as it is related to this issue
