Fast Dial as your Home Page

I don't if any has done this yet but I figured that FD would make an awesome home page.
For me anyway, I got all I need on there and it seems a shame to leave it accessible by a button.
Why not make it my home page.

I couldn't figure it out though so snooped at the code and found its source. If you want Fast Dial as
your Home Page just direct your Browser to about:blank.

Hope this helps someone.

If you want FD as your home page then use "about:blank" address.
(Or if it doesn't work, in FD 2.0 you can use "chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html")

Yeah the about:blank works in FD 1x but not in FD 2.0

I just upgraded wy fastdial 1.x to 2.3 and I found out:

about:blank does not work (but chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html does)
All my settings from 1.x are gone! .... Have to start all over again :-(
I can't figure out how to add pages again to Fast Dial (no "Add to Fast Dial" in the right-clich drop-down menu....)

????

You don't have to start over. Please find "fastdial.sqlite" (or fastdial.sqlite.bak file) in your Firefox profile folder (see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox) and send me this file. I'll find out what's the problem.

fast dial doen't appear when I open a new tab

Make sure that the following box is ticked in Preferences > General:
