Feature Request: Folders for Mails with Variable Loading Policies

Hi,
as I have lots of mails in SimpleMail collected in the many years I am using this proggy, which I don't want to loose I have a wish to ameliorate the performance of SimpleMail.
Therefore I would like to have some folders with an archive feature, which means that their contents are NOT INCLUDED or OPENED immediately at start-up of SimpleMail. Only upon separate and distinct manual request, those folders will be opened and their mails are included to the already accessible mails of the other non-archive folders.
I think, this would be advantageous for a faster start-up of the program.
When you have thousands of mails, it may take a long time, to open SimpleMail, this is at least my experience, my notebook is somewhat lazy, may be... :-(
I could also think of a hierarchy of folders, concerning this opening procedure, ideas and propositions are always welcome!
Also not only concerning this initialization procedure, other relations and functions may be of interest also, e.g. connected to their accounts and its operations.
Please let me know, what you think about that.
Thanks!

Submitted by AyeJay on Wed, 05/04/2016 - 17:34No, nothing related to embedded Windows.
Straight Windows XP Professional. Build 2600... (SP 3).
Now back to the above SimpleMail features regarding that recommended Vacuuming:
BEFORE - simplemail.sqlite file size: 462.912 KB
After vacuuming - which took about 5 minutes operating time - which could be checked over the existence of its corresponding journal-file, which disappeared automatically after the end of the vacuuming operation!
It's maximum size grew up to 485 905 KB - Journal size.
AFTER - simplemail.sqlite file size: 426 112 KB
Simplemail's startup time was now round about 1-2 minutes!
Somewhat faster, indeed.
But not as fast as I want it for the actual needed active folder contents.
This should not take more than 10 or 15 - Seconds start-up time!
Please think about my active folder ideas...
Shouldn't be too difficult to implement!

Re: Feature Request:
Submitted by AyeJay on Tue, 07/05/2016 - 13:05Sometimes FF is substantially lagging with SimpleMail (SM), not to say hanging more than about 2-5 - up to 8 MINUTES!
FF seems really to be FROZEN...
I don't know what is really the cause for this, but when I disable SM there is NO such hanging... :-(
Pleas try to add and implement some attribute Switch ON-OFF for mail folders...

Submitted by AyeJay on Mon, 08/22/2016 - 11:13It's getting worse by the time with growing number of mails...
Is the chief developer for SimpleMail still working on it?
I've seen SimpleMails change log is now ARCHIVED, does that mean, there are no changes any more?
