all of the sudden the thumbnails appear very fuzzy/blurry

A number of users have reported having this problem.

If you refresh a blurry cell does it make any difference ?

It is also recommended that you install Fast Dial Version 2.11 from here as it resolves a few problems in Version 2.9.

Installed 2.11, and issue of blurry thumbnails still remains.

Excellent post

I did, and now the issue has been resolved. What is strange is that it only applies to cells that were blank in prior versions and subsequently filled with shortcuts in the newer version.

This is very useful information.
I see you mentioned this in your first post.
I am glad you clarified this fact, I had missed it.

Original thumbnails and settings were created in 2.6(?), I believe. Issue occurred after downloading v2.8.

If anyone can send their bookmarks backup file, made when this problem is present, to telega, then there is a very good chance that this problem can be resolved.
