I used a edited fastdial.css (to get smaller search box) and overlay.xul (to unautohide menu bar). In the end, it is this: Fast Dial v2.14.M_P (http://tinyurl.com/Mafia-Penguin)

Your new Version using Fast Dial 2.14 might look even better if the Search Bar was transparent, don't you think ?
