Adding Tiles to Desktop.

Is there a way to add more tiles to the existing 9 on my desktop. I would like to have 12 or 15.

Right-click on a blank spot, click on preferences. Make sure you're on the general tab, and where it says quantity, pick how many you want. I use 8x5, so 40 tiles.
