cell loading

I've got a few cells that seem to be stuck in loading mode. They never show the icon that was chosen for them, only the swirling loading graphic.
I've switched icons, allowed no icon, deleted and re-set and even just put a color but the same occurs. A couple of them never showed their icon and some others just stopped showing it.
Any idea how to fix?

Try disabling Java as a scaling option

it helps you enable java output in error console..
once you have it all set-up, open it up, go to the ALL tab, hit Clear.
Open up fast dial, go back to error console and see if anything poped up.
