Reenable the hover effect?

Can we have an option to turn the hover effect that was present in 2.16 on and off?

Do you mean when you hover over a thumbnail, it grows slightly?
If so:
Under Preferences, go to the Appearance tab. From there, go to the Thumbnail sub-tab.
From there, decrease the "Margin" at the bottom (but only on the left side!)
And while you're at it go explore the jungles I call Preferences! (:

I had explored the preferences a bit in the older version, i just got tired of it when the current preferences werent loaded into the boxes so every time you started over again. glad to see that fixed also :)
