Suggestion: Least surprise

Hi,
Could I suggest an update strategy that includes least surprise :) Fast Dial is getting worse with each update from when I first started using it and I can not for the life of me work out what is actually being done by the developers.
1) Size/Number of icons on a page. This is now a global setting, it used to be per page. Never remove functionality. Also this was never broken and didn't need "fixing"
2) Dragging a bookmark into a folder. This no longer works. It's a fundamental aspect, used to work, hasn't for ages now. Never remove functionality.
3) Add a bookmark to Fast Dial. Now dumps a new bookmark on the home page rather than in the open page as it used to. Minor problem but compounded with (2) makes adding a new page to Fast Dial such a pain I no longer bother. A real pity as Fast Dial used to do this but has been now been "fixed to bits". Never remove functionality.
4) Data loss again. Well, what to say, latest version overwrites icon titles. I'm at a loss with this especially as Fast Dial could be pointing into other bookmark areas. Watch it go rename all my bookmarks.
5) Adding features for the fun of it: switched off search engine (though could be ok I guess for full screen mode but given Firefox's integration into search rather pointless). I see there is a new help link, can't seem to get rid of that yet.
6) Back link goes and comes back again. Never...
6) Have to turn Preview on for each bookmark, why? Just why? It used to work just fine.
So, we have a less functional version with each update, more bugs being introduced as would be expected with continued re-development of features that used to work and essentially the actual features that are useful either not working or being a complete pain to use/switch on.
Loss of user data twice now in two separate updates.
