It would seem that the problem is directly related to the use of the high contrast themes in Windows 7

I am using High Contrast Black with customised changes

I even tried making a CSS Stylish style to see if I could over ride

I am trying to keep things dark both in Windows and in Firefox / Pale Moon

How do you set things up in Windows 7/ Firefox

I have not got the perfect answer yet

I decided to follow a similar route and have installed a third party Theme

Much superior to the Windows 7 Styles
