is the a possibility to override the width and height of the cells? If I want to get them smaller than 100x75 there's no effect: they don't get smaller!

I think you will find that that is the minimum size that can be set in the later Versions of Fast Dial

I would recommend that you create folders/groups and in that way have fewer and and as a result larger cells on your Fast Dial page.

Your cells will then be easier to see.
