Leaving Fastdial With a Heavy Heart.

Fastdial has been my favourite addon for a very long time now. I used it everyday and every time I surfed the net and it was of great use to me. I even made a few userlogos for fastdial as well but today I have decided to stop using Fastdial with a heavy heart. The reason is that ever since I have upgraded to Firefox 3.5, I am repeatedly losing my fastdial bookmarks and it is causing problems to me with xmarks as well. I am now fearful that this error with xmarks may cause me to loose my other bookmarks as well. As I cannot take such a risk, I am uninstalling Fastdial for now. I hope that this bug is fixed sometime and I can return to using Fastdial.
Thanks to the makers of Fastdial for the great addon anyway. It was of great help to me until now.
Regards,
Vijay

Thanks for your feedback Vijay.
Firstly I presume you have seen suggestions on how to recover lost Bookmarks here
There is also a post specific to this problem and xmarks here
Many thanks

I never set up an XMARKS.COM account and so the instructions for fixing the problem don't work for me. So the suggestions don't work and the software now has a bug that I cannot live with. Email me when you get it fixed and I'll consider trying it again, but I will not be registering with any "partner" sites in order to get it to work.
