FD has taken control of my tab key

Ok, I have a weird issue I am hoping someone can help with. I recently had to reinstall my Windows Vista computer and I did a backup and restore of my firefox with FEBE. On top of this the new versions (2.3 and 2.8) of Fast Dial came out and were installed only on the firefox for the new installation of windows. I am not sure when this started but whenever I hit the tab key to fill out a form or when I use the google search bar in firefox I am redirected to americanexpress.com which was one of my fast dial links. If I hold the shift key down before hitting the tab key then everything works as expected. I have verified this is a problem with fast dial because everything works fine if I disable fast dial.
Does anyone know how to completely clean out Fast Dial configs from firefox. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I think this probably probably started during the restore of my firefox with FEBE.
Thanks for your help.

I you want to delete all FD config open Bookmarks menu, and delete Fast Dial subfolder, then restart Firefox.
UPDATE: I'll update FD so that assigning TAB (and other special keys) as shortcuts isn't possible.

Thanks....
