No, it shouldn't be smaller because I didn't use a custom image I just typed in the url for the image that I wanted to use. This was the website's homepage so it should automatically scale.

It's just that typing the direct url of the website works for some thumbnails and for others I get that "squished" image. I guess its a hit or miss. For the misses I'll just create the image myself. Well, I don't want to have to create logos for every site that I link to. I have too many of them. I also don't want to create custom images for them all either. You see, most of my thumbnails lead to logins and if I left it in the default view then I'll get confused on which site was which since all login boxes look alike. That's why I wanted the to be able to get an image of the site just by typing in the url. That way I don't have to waste time creating images for them all.
