SUGGESTION: Sync for different computers
rollrcoastrboy Tue, 12/09/2008 - 16:00
I have two computers, a desktop and a laptop. When i change a fast dial bookmark on one, i have to manually go to the other computer to change that one. I wish there was a way to automatically sync it for all computers when i update one it changes the others.
I know that the sites are saved in a bookmark folder, i use allway sync, so if i use it to set it to sync bookmark folders, it works but the websites are not in the same position on both computers. Is there a file, maybe, that has the location of all of the sites?

I use foxmarks, so the bookmarks are synced, but the sites usually don't show up in the same "cell" on each computer when i change one.

Yes a number of Foxmarks users have reported this problem.
There is long thread on Foxmarks here that may interest you, although it is not directly linked to your problem.
Thanks
