Hi,

I have firefox 16.0.1 and downloaded simplemail V2.83.1 everything seemed fine I happily set up my various eMail accounts on POP and IMAP - sent a few messages between the accounts and was very, very pleased with the whole set up.

I then changed the data folder to a dedicated folder in my B drive (partition) and, maybe co-incidentally, it all went blank

When I next restarted firefox, everything had vanished, all of the information in the 'preferences' had gone blank, including all the default 'ticks' in the general tab, the accounts ... everything. I tried clicking the general > data directory > x but it is blank when I return to it

I tried adding one eMail account back in, but it won't appear. I tried ticking a few boxes but if I click [close] and then return, its all gone.

In desperation I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I get the same 'blank' preferences (not even the default settings).

I am sure it something I have done wrong somewhere, but I can't figure out what it is !
