problems sending mail (HIDDEN "From:" area)

Hello
i use (and love) simplemail, but i'm having problems when i try to create a new mail or have to reply to one received.
As you can see, my "FROM:" area is so small that it's impossible to choose an user address, and i cannot send anything.
(i use Xubuntu 14.10 Firefox 33.0 and SimpleMail 2.86.6)
any way to solve this problem, please?
